Terms
Booking terms
The deposit, the notice I need, and what happens either side of it. Booking an appointment means agreeing to what is on this page.
Deposits
Every appointment holds a £15 deposit at the point of booking. Deducted from the treatment price on the day. The balance is paid in the studio.
Changing or cancelling
There are three windows, counted from the start of your appointment:
- 48 hours or more — your deposit is refunded in full, or moves to a new date, whichever you prefer.
- Between 24 and 48 hours — your deposit moves to another date, but it is not refunded.
- Under 24 hours — the deposit is neither refunded nor transferred.
That last one is not a penalty; it is that an hour given up at short notice rarely refills.
Running late
Message me. I will hold the full time where I can. Past 15 minutes the treatment is shortened so the appointment after yours is not pushed back.
Patch tests
A patch test is required at least 48 hours before any brow tint or brow lamination. Book it by messaging me on Instagram. You will need one as a new brow client, roughly every six months, and whenever I change products.
Without a patch test the brow treatment cannot go ahead and the appointment will be cancelled.
Gift cards
Gift cards are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase and can be redeemed against anything on the menu. A card is redeemed off the total; where the treatment costs more, the balance is paid in the studio. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
Payment
Card, Apple Pay or cash in the studio, and you can pay through Instagram. The deposit is taken online when you book, and you are welcome to pay the full amount online instead.
Health and suitability
Tell me about anything that affects your treatment — allergies, skin conditions, medication, recent treatments, or if you are pregnant. There is a space for it on the booking form, and please tell me again on the day if something has changed.
Some treatments are not suitable in some circumstances, and I will say so rather than press on. Where it is not safe to carry a treatment out I will adjust it or stop, and we will find something that works instead.
Aftercare and results
I will talk you through aftercare before you leave, and you can message me afterwards if anything is unclear. How long a result lasts depends on your skin, your hair and how the aftercare goes, so I will give you a realistic window rather than a promise.
If you are not happy with a treatment, tell me within a week. I would far rather see you back in the room and put it right.
Children and guests
The studio is one room and one client at a time, and that is the point of it. Please come to your appointment on your own where you can.
If you need to bring someone — a carer, or a child you cannot leave — message me before the day and I will tell you honestly whether it works around the treatment you have booked.
